Scripture tells us that we are purposed for God’s glory, and Ephesians 5 specifically tells us that we are purposed to walk in love, live as light, and love in unity. But how in the heck are we supposed to do those things? Has God purposed us for the impossible? Yes and no.
It’s the Spirit of God that equips us to emulate the Son of God and do the work of God to the glory of God.
We live out the impossible by relying on supernatural!
I am going to keep diving deep into this concept in the weeks to come, but in this clip, I define purpose and help us sit with the humbling truth that we can’t pursue or achieve it on our own.
In the next post, we will explore how we live as light when we can’t make our own, then we will jump into:
- Why the Holy Spirit is our pilot light
- Lyrics about waking up and walking right
- What God really thinks about drinking and cussing
- How unity is actually achieved in a divided world
But first, I wanna hear from you. When you hear me say, “You can’t live your purpose on your own,” how do you feel? Insulted? Relieved? Both? Tell the truth. 😜👇
