AWAKE O SLEEPER

I wrote a song I love about a verse I love.

In Ephesians 5:14, Paul quotes the prophet Isaiah saying, “Awake, sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” And here’s the mind-blowing, life-altering invitation offered to us by Jesus:

Can you hear it – his invitation?  Can you feel it – the sun warming your face when you accept what he is offering?

We can live as light, friend. We just have to live IN light first.
